The Yeovil Show
The Yeovil Show was resurrected in 2016 and saw over 25,000 people attend the two day agricultural and country show. Held at Yeovil Showground it was a labour of love by the directors to get this wonderful event off the ground so successfully.
I volunteered to help in the Show office in the first year and this saw me being offered a contract to liaise with the sponsors for their second year.
I enthusiastically accepted and worked with marketing and the Show Manager in the run up to the event to ensure all sponsors received the benefits outlined in their agreements with the show.

Part of my role included support over the course of the weekend event. Meeting and greeting the sponsors onsite, using my people skills to work with them and get them to trophy presentations on time.
The placement of sponsor's banners around the site saw me also getting my hands dirty ensuring that each sponsor had the best placement inline with their contract.
I built up such a good rapour and working relationship with the sponsors, it was a very rewarding role.
After the 2018 show, the current Show Manager moved onto a new challenge at another show and I was very honoured to be offered her position as Show Manager and started organising the 2019 show in ernest. Sadly due to issues with the land the show was held on 2018 was the last Yeovil Show for the foreseeable future.
